Four Rivers to the Labrador Sea
Jim Baird of Canoe Beyond
Thursday, February 12th 7:00-9:00pm
In 2011 Jim Baird, his brother Ted, and two of their friends set out to undertake an exceptional canoe adventure. They found a remote and grueling route from Schefferville, Quebec to Hopedale, Labrador via the Du Pas, George, and Adlatok Rivers. The men experienced hardships including lack of food, bear danger, and injury but their expedition was successful. Jim is looking forward
to sharing his stories and images from this remarkable journey.
Jim Baird is a 33 year old outdoor writer and videographer who is currently working with Canoe & Kayak magazine.
