Gear Review: Keen Targhee Sock

Gear Review: Keen Targhee Sock

When the temperatures are a little more bearable, you just want to get out and hike. Fall brings out the best in trails... no more bugs, the changing leaves, and no more searing sunshine. With big plans to hike more often this Fall, I tried out the Targhee socks from Keen as I wanted to 'upgrade' to a sock geared for a good adventure.

With dedicated Right and Left socks, they fit well and are quite cushy. Even after days of back to back hiking and extra hours spent in the outdoors, your feet will be the last of your concerns. The sock didn't bunch, or move on me at all, and retained its loft after long hikes and washes.

I now have a new favourite sock to keep handy for when ever the mood strikes to explore nature's trails. In fact after wearing them, I ran out and bought a second pair.

Keen ambassador Kevin Callan and myself, putting our best feet forward.

The Targhee sock is available in 1/4 Crew (Black/Black) and Lite Crew (Black/Black, Green, Dark Brown and Brown) versions. For an example of height, take a look at the following photo, while I was wearing a pair of Keen Bryce Mid WP hiking boots.
