A wide selection of Canoeing and outdoors books were available for purchase.

The 2014 Wilderness and Canoe Symposium was a delight this weekend, held at the Monarch Park Collegiate in Toronto, Ontario. With 18 speakers accompanied by music and numerous beautiful photos during the presentations, there was a lot to take in and appreciate.

The topics covered epic journeys into the backcountry, and spanned historic accounts of outdoors enthusiasts, to younger speakers who related how much adventuring means to them and those around them.

The event was a great social gathering as well, with opportunities for the attendees to mingle during the breaks.

The day ended with great stories from James Raffan, and George Luste.
