Seaward Kayaks Entered the Dragons' Den
Chemainus, British Columbia business Seaward Kayaks entered CBC's Dragons' Den last week on their "Only in Canada" episode (Season 8, Episode 14). GM (At the time), Douglas Godkin asked 300K for 15% of the business. They create thermoform kayaks made from fully recyclable ABS plastic, as well as Fiberglas models. The family-owned business has been operating for over 25 years and is one of Canada's largest manufactures of Fiberglass kayaks.
