Meet Path of the Paddle Tonight At Wilderness Supply

Tonight, hear stories from Winnipeg’s own Paul Schram and Hadley Burns who paddled 1,187 km from Thunder Bay all the way to Manitoba. They became the FIRST official through paddlers of this section of the in-progress Trans Canada Trail.

Head over to Wilderness Supply (42 Speers Road) tonight (doors open at 7:30, event starts at 8) for a free evening sharing Paul and Hadley’s best tales from 10 weeks on the water. Learn their hard-earned tips and tricks gleaned from 2.5 months on Canada's longest trail in the making!

Dedicated to paddling legend Bill Mason, the Thunder Bay to Whiteshell route forms one of the few water-based sections of the 80% complete Trans Canada Trail, which (one fully connected) will stretch nearly 24,000 kilometres from the Atlantic to the Pacific to the Arctic oceans, through every province and territory, linking Canadians in nearly 1,000 communities.
