Trangia Announces New Gas Burner, 'Storm'

Swedish stove and cookware manufacturer Trangia has announced a brand new gas burner, called Storm. This is Trangia’s first self-designed and produced gas burner that is 100% made in Sweden, including all parts.

Every detail is refined for superior user experience and high performance. All parts are replaceable and available as spare parts for optimal durability. The cover is both practical and environmentally friendly – made from recycled wool from Woolpower’s production.

The stove weighs 170g, and works with both the 25 Large and 27 Small stoves. It uses a EN417 threaded valve which means it is compatible with Propane/isobutane gas and Propane/butan gas canisters. The stove produces 2300w (7850 btu) and can boil a litre of water in 3.5 minutes. It is also easy to fine tune the flame and even simmer your food.

Due to necessary certifications, Storm is currently only sold within the EU and hopefully should come to Canada and the U.S. sometime later in 2024/2025.
