B!ke Trent Levy Successful!

B!ike: The Peterborough Community Bike Shop made an effort to improve the accessibility of cycling on the main campus. They proposed a $3.85 levy which was indexed to CPI, to full-time undergraduate students.

The purpose of the levy was to:

• Create a a permanent, student-run workshop at Trent with the tools, parts and guidance for DIY bike repair
• Create a Bike Share program
• Create several student jobs

Voting took place on March 15-18th and the initiative was successful! I look forward to hear more about this.
