Ontario Forestry Association 2012 Conference
The Ontario Forestry Association 2012 Conference is on February 10th at the Nottawasaga Inn, in Alliston (Map). "Join close to 300 landowners, educators, forestry professionals, government and the general public as we explore the importance of healthy forests for healthy people."
"This year the OFA Annual Conference will explore forest health and human health, and the connections between them. We will examine these healthy issues from the perspective of Symptoms, Diagnosis and Prescription with a goal of helping to expand our understanding of what it takes to sustain a healthy forest and ways they can benefit our own physical, mental and economic health."
It costs $75 for a 2012 OFA Member, $125 for a non-member and $30 for a student. The conference primer can be downloaded in .PDF format.
