Sunday marked the closure of the Gatineau Park Parkway Network (Gatineau, Champlain, and Fortune parkways) for motorists, which happens seasonally on the fourth Sunday in October. Once the snow starts to fall, these roads will transform into some of the best cross-counrty skiing and snowshoeing trails in the area. You can pre-register for a season pass and received discounted rates until December 15th, and begin to book yurts starting November 1st.
