The Ganaraska's trails open May 1st (Which can't come soon enough!). Don't forget to abide by the trail rules as the conservation authority hires police officers to conduct paid duty patrols...

"Should police stop you in the forest you will be required to produce a forest use permit (day pass or membership card). In addition to police, patrols are conducted by conservation officers, conservation authority staff and volunteer forest patrollers. All of these groups have the authority to ask for the same documents as police officers, as well as personal identification."
