Friday Chuckle: 19th Century Inflatable Canoe Cloak?
The Canadian Canoe Museum wrote about a 19th Century Inflatable Canoe Cloak made by Arctic explorer Royal Navy Lt. Peter Halkett.
It only had limited success (those wacky explorers/inventors), but apparently there are two surviving Halkett devices, complete in their carrying case. Head over to the Canadian Canoe Museum's blog to learn more, and stay tuned as apparently they are looking to make their own.
