Although it isn't a Canadian event, we can't pass up the opportunity to talk about Canoecopia. With only two months to go until the big show, if you plan to go, now is the time to start planning your trip to Madison, Wisconsin.

Canoecopia was created by Rutabaga Paddlesports and is the world's largest Canoe, Kayak, SUP and outdoor expo. It has nearly 50 guest speakers (Including Canada's own Kevin Callan and Preston Ciere) including pool presentations, seminars, clinics and numerous booths with vendors with all the latest gear and latest models of Canoes, Kayaks and SUPs.

You can stay up to date with Canoecopia news by following them on Facebook. Canoecopia is held at the Alliant Energy Center (1919 Alliant Energy Center Way) on Friday, March 7th (4 to 9 p.m.), Saturday, March 8th (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Sunday, March 9th (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Tickets are $15 for a day pass and $25 for a Weekend pass (Ages 17 and under can attend for free). Parking is $6.50 per car, per day.
