Snapshot: All Part of the Adventure
Went on a trip in the Kawartha Highlands to get Hadley the Golden Doodle a little more acustomed to canoe trips. The long paddles, staying with the "pack" when portaging and not jumping out mid way across a lake. This was her best trip yet, although she never actually lays down and wants to see what's going on at all times (or drink the entire lake, sampling from both sides of the canoe).
There was a beaver dam that had let out on Adams Lake from the torrent of rain we received the night before which left about 45 feet of waist high muck. It didn't phase her one bit, and I think she rather enjoyed it which was great to see.
It didn't take long for her to conk out in the back seat on the ride home which is always a good sign when you tucker out your pooch!
