Saskatchewan Parks Sets Attendance Record in 2015

Saskatchewan Provincial Parks set an attendance record in 2015 with almost 3.9 million visits.

“We are pleased to see a record number of vacationers utilizing our parks in the province,” Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Mark Docherty said. “The Government of Saskatchewan recognizes the importance of our provincial parks in relation to the quality of life here. We are committed to investing in park infrastructure to support the current demand and future growth of visitation.”

Camping reservations will open April 11, 2016 so be sure to circle that date on your calendar. Fees for nightly camping, seasonal camping, group camping and vehicle entry permits will slightly raise this year (Park user fees cover approximately 60 per cent of operating costs)...

  • $1 for nightly camping
  • $1-$5 for entry permits

  • $4-$8 for group camping

  • $30-$75 for seasonal camping.
