Farewell Sears

Believe it or not but Sears once sold canoe paddles (and canoes... but that was long ago). My first hand-me-down paddle was actually from Sears (a "Gamefisher" paddle with a convex/concave handle) and still lasts to this day as a spare paddle in case of emergency.

It is a shame such a Canadian icon could't succeed, but neither could Simpsons. Congratulations on 64 years of business, and thanks for thinking of us outdoors enthusiasts along the way.
