Polar Ranger -20
When designing a bag for the most extreme conditions on earth, it helps to work with someone who calls the polar ice caps home. Eric Larsen has been the North Pole, South Pole and the peak of Everest multiple times. Eric and our team put our heads together to build a bag that would suit the needs of extreme explorers. From a snorkel hood to double-layer draft tubes, the Polar Ranger is tough enough to keep you comfy in the wildest places on earth.
- Overlapping Side Vents: Side vents open to allow arm use and customizable temperature control. Overlapping draft tubes prevent cold spots when zippers are closed.
- Snorkel Hood: Controls frost created by breath and eliminates warmth-sapping cross drafts. Synthetic snorkel resists moisture.
- [800 Fill Nikwax Hydrophobic Down™: Dries 3 times faster than untreated down without using dangerous PFCs.
- SynergyLink™ Connectors: Integrate the bag with a mattress for optimal comfort and efficiency; removable for versatility.
- ThermaCapture™ Lining: Full-coverage lining traps radiant body heat and retains warmth without adding bulk or weight.
- Additional features: Toe-asis™ Foot Warmer Pocket, Overstuffed draft tubes, Quilt and Blanket Loops.
- Weight: Regular - 1459 g (3 lbs 3 oz); Long - 1549 g (3 lbs 7 oz)
