Winter Camping Surprise At High Falls
I arrived at a spot to camp a little after nightfall and didn't quite see everything that was around my basecamp.
High Falls is at the Southern tip of Algonquin Park and it’s an easy 1km snowshoe trip in to the Falls. There are plenty of great spots to tuck a four-season or prospector tent into the woods and still hear the waterfall. There is an issue with finding a parking spot however as the road and parking lot (where the trailhead is) are not plowed in the Winter.
