The North Face Geodome 4 Tent Will Stand Up To Anything

The North Face has created possibly one of the most rugged tents we've ever seen with the Geodome 4. Currently it is only sold in Japan, but this four-person tent can withstand up to 94 kph winds! The triangular shapes within a geodesic dome (based upon a design by Dr. Buckminster Fuller) are incredibly rigid and make for a perfect design in a tent for harsh conditions.

With a ceiling height of 2.1 m, there is enough clearance inside for someone 6'9" tall to stand and there are five mesh pockets to help store your gear. It only takes five main poles and an equator pole to set it up and the dual-layer water-resistant exterior (75D polyester taffeta 1,500 mm PU coating) is ready for what ever Nature can throw at it. The tent weights 11 kg.

The Geodome 4 comes out in March 2018 and costs 180,000 Yen or roughly $2,135 Canadian.
