Paddle maker Hunter and Harris just released two new paddles…

The Portside is the perfect paddle for those seeking a more relaxed, easy to manoeuvre paddle. Based on H&H's popular ottertail shape, this refined paddle slices through the water effortlessly and silently. The rich red cedar blade has been reinforced with fibreglass sheathing and tipped off with resin for protection against those Canadian rocks! We also varnished the shaft and blade in a deep gloss to further protect it from the elements. To keep things a little traditional, the grip as a hand rubbed oil finish to give it that organic feel. The Portside is the perfect canoe paddle for that trip up to the cabin or a relaxing trip into the backcountry.
