2020 Wilderness And Canoe Symposium
The 35th annual Wilderness and Canoe Symposium is February 21st and 22nd and it has a new venue this year. Normally it is held at Monarch Park Collegiate in Toronto, Ontario but this year it is moving to York University. Funnily enough, the TDSB declined WCS 2020 permit application citing parking problems for the neighbouring community caused by WCS attendees (yikes!). York University has many advantages though such as a large modern auditorium that seats 500people, is available via subway, and has a large variety of healthy on-campus food options. Kudos to Aleks for organizing everything.
The speaker list and schedule is almost complete and includes speakers such as…
Mike Stein "Grand Canoyn of the Liard" (Friday evening)
