Cascade Designs Converts Factory To Make Medical Masks
Seattle’s Cascade Designs (parent company of MSR, Therm-a-Rest, Platypus, PackTowl, and SealLine) has converted one of their factories to manufacture medical masks for 51 hospitals in the Providence network. Currently they can manufacturer 1,000 masks a day using materials which are being provided by Kaas Tailored, and they hope to ramp up production to 20,000 ASTM Level 1 medical masks a day.
