N.W.T. Parks Opening Wednesday For 2020 Camping Reservations

The Northwest Territories Parks are opening on Wednesday, June 10th, 2020 to accept camping reservations that open Friday. While camping overnight had previously been prohibited under COVID-19 precautions, Phase 2 of the re-opening plan begins on Friday, June 12th. The reservation system will open at 10 a.m.

There will be restrictions however such as the showers and kitchen shelters will remain closed, and there is also a travel ban so anyone from outside the territory will not be able to enter. To promote physical distancing and safe camping some sites may not be available for booking.
