As someone who thoroughly enjoys winter camping, it’s easy for me to recommend that people try it, but much harder to guide someone through every step. Sure there are a few online forums and Facebook groups that I would suggest, but sometimes that can be a little intimidating.
Winter Camping has grown in interest over the past few years, but it can be hard for people to safely jump in. Naturally newcomers will have a lot of questions such as… do I need a new tent? What clothing should I wear? What kind of food should I pack? Can I use any of my summer gear? Where do I start?
