"Reservation Change Fee" Increasing At Alberta Parks

Alberta Parks had announced a few changes that were coming to the 2022 camping reservation system earlier this year, and now some of those changes are rolling out next week. Starting March 31st to help prevent overbooking and last-minute changes, the “reservation change fee” is raising from $5 to $10.

“We know that life happens and plans change, but it is important to do what we can to promote fair and equal access to campsites while continuing to prioritize affordability.”

Camping reservations made before March 31st will still honour the original price. You will also only be able to reserve a maximum of ten nights where previously you could reserve 16.
