Paddle Manitoba’s own adventurer, Brian Johnston, has some answers for you.
Join us for a 400 km covid safe circle route steeped in history from the end of the
road in Northern Saskatchewan. The Chipman Portages was the way North and
it’s still a viable route to Selwyn Lake, which straddles the North of 60’ border,
and surprisingly has two outflows; the Chipman River and the Porcupine River.
Brian’s canoe trip presentation will follow the Chipman River upstream into the
Northwestern Territories and return via the Porcupine and Fond du Lac River.
