Swedish headlamp and compass maker Silva is releasing a new line of headlamps in their ‘Explore’ and ‘Discover’ series.

The Explore 5 is a 700-lumen headlamp that comes in a dust-tight and fully waterproof (IP68 standard) design. It has a comfortable wide headband with smooth buckles for easy adjustment. The headlamp’s red light mode preserves your night vision and the orange light enables better map reading. Explore 5 also has a 4-level battery indicator and an integrated rechargeable battery.

The Discover headlamp has a light output of 500 lumens, a comfortable wide headband. The design is dust-tight and water-resistant according to IP65. The headlamp’s red light mode preserves your night vision and the orange light enables better map reading. Both Discover headlamps feature Hybrid technology, meaning they are compatible with both rechargeable Silva Hybrid Battery (included in Discovery Hybrid) and AAA batteries.
