Celebrate National Canoe Day 2024 At The Canadian Canoe Museum
The Canadian Canoe Museum is celebrating National Canoe Day (June 26th every year) with the theme of #OnTheWater. Visit the museum in person (2077 Ashburnham Drive, Peterborough, ON) this Wednesday from 11 a.m. until Noon to take part in guided Canoe flotilla tours around Little Lake. Bring your own canoe or kayak, or rent at the museum itself.

Wherever there is water, there are canoeists. On National Canoe Day canoe and kayak enthusiasts visit their favorite waterways, exploring their lakes and rivers or participating in competitive aquatic events. Canoeing and kayaking is a fun activity that’s easy to learn and friendly to people across different age groups and all levels of abilities.
