The Outfitters: Fall/Winter Gear Swap
The Outfitters Fall Gear Swap takes place on Saturday November 15th and is a community event in association with the Avalon Nordic Ski Club. Most items swapped during this event are winter related such as skis and related ski products, snowshoe, winter outerwear and anything outdoor related.
How to Swap
Simply bring your gear to The Outfitters and complete a gear swap form. One of our friendly staff or volunteers will help you itemize each of your swap items, tag them and price them accordingly. Gear Swaps take place on the weekend so ensure you get your gear ready and bring it to The Outfitters the week leading up to the Swap.
We are accepting items from Sunday November 9th to Friday 14th
Gear Swap Registration Guidelines
Please ensure your Gear Swap items are in sellable condition
Please ensure your unsold Gear Swap items are picked up within one (1) week of dropping them off
If you would like to donate your un-sold items, please check the applicable box on the form
Cheques or credits/gift cards issued may be picked up after November 21st, 2014
Unsold gear must be picked up no later than Sunday, November 23rd, 2014
Gear Swap Tips
Please write a detailed description on the tag provided - this will help potential buyers make a better, and quicker decision
Examples:
- 'bought for the kids and they decided not to ski anymore'
- '2 years old - bought for $200 - decided to upgrade'
- 'Works great' or 'Lots of life left'
