The website Environmental Graffiti conveys the story of ten fit cross country skiers in 1959 that went camping in Russia’s Ural Mountains, but only one made it back alive. It originally looked to be an avalanche accident, however after closer investigation their tent was found to be cut from the inside, the campers had run out into the -30 temperatures naked and the tongue of one of the others was missing.
