Dehydrating: Potatoes
Peel yourself some potatoes, and cut them into slices about 0.5cm thick. It's a good idea to blanch them first (drop them into a pot of boiling water for about five minutes, then use a strainer to transfer them immediately into a bowl of cold water.) then dry them off.
Space them out on a mesh tray and dry them at 130ºF for eight to ten hours. You're looking for a crisp potato with no signs of moisture (break one in half to check).
