2013 Paddle In the Park Contest

First we had Preston from Portageur.ca , teasing us with with photos and cryptic hints such as...

"Normally, this would be the time I'd tell you all about my upcoming trip and the cool place I'm going. Oh I'm still going somewhere. I just can't tell you. It's a secret."

Then when we wished Kevin Callan  "Happy Trails" as he set out for a 20 day trip in Algonquin Park he mumbled something about paddles...

But now the secret is out, and the Paddle in the Park Contest launches this Friday. Six Badger Paddles have been hidden within the depths of Algonquin, Killarney and Temagami parks and it is up to you to find them! Thanks to Preston Ciere, Kevin Callan and Hap Wilson, for stashing them... but that's not all. Check out Paddle in the Park Contest's Facebook Page to stay up to date on updates, as well as the other prizes included in the findings. Swag from North Water Paddle Sports Equipment, Portageur.ca, Jeff’s Map, a one year subscription to Canoeroots, and signed books by authors Kevin Callan, Hap Wilson and Laurie Ann March are just some of the prizes included. The contest ends September 15th (or when all the paddles are found).
