2014 Backcountry Camping at BC's Joffre Lakes Provincial Park Opens Tomorrow

For the first time, BC Parks is going to open backcountry camping at Joffre Lakes Provincial Park.

Opening June 1st, 2014, this site includes 24 rustic gravel tent pads adjacent to the lake, an outhouse, and a food cache. Camping is located at the end of a rugged wilderness trail 5.5 km from the trail head.
