Inside the New Arc'Teryx Toronto Store

The Grand Opening for the new Arc'Teryx store in Toronto is this Saturday (August 23rd from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Sunday (August 24th from Noon to 6 p.m.) at 339 Queen Street West, and here's a peek into what they offer.

An incredibly cool Archaeopteryx lithographica

As soon as you step through the door, you will be greeted by a very sleek and clean designed store that stays true to the brand colours. The Toronto store joins Vancouver (Whistler, Vancouver, and North Vancouver) and Montreal in having their own official Arc'Teryx location.​

Just inside, a female mannequin is adorned with climbing gear which proudly shows off the company's alpine and climbing heritage. As you progress through the store you will find a range of clothing for both Men and Women, spanning technical and urban lines.

To get a feel of what Arc'Teryx offers, have a look online and in store at the numerous lines of clothing they feature. In the Ascent line which is the more technical type of clothing (alpinism & climbing), be sure to check out the new Alpha Comp Hoody (Men's - Women's) which is made to stand up to any type of weather as well as Arc'Teryx's pinnacle of jackets, the Alpha SV (Men's - Women's). The Essentials line includes versatile hardshell, softshell and windshell jackets, the Endorphin line includes gear for running or aerobics and the Traverse line is aimed at hiking and trekking.

On a funny side note...one of the installers took setting up the large Arc’Teryx illuminated logo to a new level as once he saw what the task involved, he went home to get his climbing gear (rope and Grigri) to hoist it up. It was a little unconventional, but right in line with what Arc'Teryx is all about.
