2nd Annual Ontario Winter Camping Symposium Is November 24th
The 2nd Annual Ontario Winter Camping Symposium is November 24th, 2018 and tickets will go on sale September 1st.
- Glen Hooper from WinterTrekking.com will talk about safety and what he's learned through years of camping
- Camper Christina will talk about making your own hot tent
- Tim Foley from Canadian Outdoor Equipment will talk about choosing and maintaining your axes and knives
- Buck Miller, Eric Batty and Ryan Atkins from Crossing Algonquin will recap their 10 day journey
- Rhonda McMahon (from Stride and Stretch) and the Silver Summit Sisters will talk about cold tenting and climbing Killarney's Silver Peak in winter
The event will be held at The Theatre of the Arts at the University of Waterloo. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for Youth and a Family (2 adult and up to 3 youth) are $50.
