CBC Reports That MEC Has Lost $11M This Year

CBC Vancouver reported that Mountain Equipment Co-op has posted an $11 million loss this year (on sales of $462 million). This news comes after previous MEC CEO David Labistour stepped down and Phil Arrata took over, MEC launched a new flagship store in Toronto, and two MEC stores in B.C. have unionized.
