2020 Hike Haliburton: Winter Edition

The yearly Ontario hiking festival Hike Haliburton has announced a new Winter Edition taking place from February 8, 2020 to February 9, 2020. There will be over 20 guided & themed snowshoe hikes, demonstration and events for all ages, interests and abilities.

The Festival is more than just traditional snowshoeing/hiking; heavily integrating the arts, culture, heritage and foodie experiences to truly showcase the area. There are lots of great events happening throughout the Festival as well, which anyone can attend!

Bring your friends and family for 2 days of adventure and fun. All hikes are free of charge. Donations are welcome.

Registration is now open for the hikes (hurry, they are filling up fast!). Kevin Callan is also a guest speaker during the event with his Gear, Gab and Grub open house talk (on Sunday, February 9th). There is also a Traditional Snowshoe Construction demonstration by Rick Nash, and a Snowshoe Show and Tell with Craig MacDonald.
