Nova Scotia Provincial Parks Reopens Select Campsites After Hurricane Fiona

Nova Scotia Provincial Parks has been hard at work to reopen campgrounds and day-use parks closed due to hurricane Fiona.
“We know how important being in nature is to Nova Scotians and our staff are working hard to reopen the provincial parks. While we work to get the rest up and running safely, we thank everyone for their co-operation and patience.”
The following provincial park campgrounds will reopen on Wednesday September 28th, at 2 p.m.:
Battery, Richmond County
Blomidon, Kings County
Ellenwood Lake, Yarmouth County
Graves Island, Lunenburg County
Rissers Beach, Lunenburg County
The Islands, Shelburne County
Thomas Raddall, Queens County
Valleyview, Annapolis County
Whycocomagh, Inverness County.
