Recall: Salewa Alp Trainer 2 Mid GTX Hiking Boots

Health Canada has recalled the Salewa Alp Trainer 2 Mid GTX Hiking Boots due to a tripping hazard that has injured one Canadian.

If the recalled AT2 Boots are laced loosely or untied, unlaced at the ankle support of the boot, not laced through the eyelet, or the lace hooks are left unlaced, etc., it is possible that the lace hook on the inside of one boot can catch on the loose cable on the inside of the other boot, posing a trip-and-fall hazard.

Have a look at the label sewn inside the tongue to see if it falls into the affected production date range.
