Ostrom Outdoors Announces The Mason Camp Table
Ostrom Outdoors makers of canoe packs and barrel harnesses has announced a brand new product! The Mason Camp Table is a fantastic way to organize your cookware or camping gear without having to resort to putting a nail in a tree. It is available for pre-order and will start shipping mid-May 2023.
Meal prep, doing dishes or bartending are a dream on a canoe trip when you can stand up straight. The Mason Camp Table is a perfect size and the perfect weight. (~2.75lb / 1.25kg) It’s simple and quick to set up, and all you need is a tree.
Paul Mason and Bill Ostrom designed the first “Mason Kitchen” 15 years ago. They have collaborated again to improve the design and dramatically reduce the weight.
It comes with a storage bag that attaches to the end of the table and you can also order the small mesh pockets, and large mesh pockets as add-ons which hang from D-rings.

Materials
Table & Shelf: 200 denier nylon covering a foam core. A combination of wood dowels (max ½” / 13 mm) provide rigidity. Some are glued in permanently, and others need to be inserted.
Webbing Straps: The table attaches to the tree with two 1in / 25mm webbing straps with heavy-duty adjustable 1in/ 25mm nylon side release buckles. It fits trees 6 to 24in / 15 to 61cm in diameter.
Leveling Cords: These cords and adjustable camlocks are used to level and create tension on the main table and upper shelf. Use them to adjust the stiffness and stability. (Cords are 3/16in / 5mm)
