Ostrom Outdoors Announces The 'Aurora' Day Pack

Ostrom Outdoors has announced a brand new 37L day pack called the Aurora.

Go from the portage trail to Peru with this 37L top-loading day pack. The Aurora is a perfect carry with your canoe or as a kid’s portage pack. Love to travel? It fits most airlines' carry-on luggage requirements. Lots of pockets will keep you organized. The lightweight framesheet and our Load Control Pocket™ provide amazing load transfer. So comfortable to carry! Unique to a day pack is the ability to custom-fit the shoulder straps. (S, M, L, XL) It comes with a 2” waist belt. We’ve tested it on canoe trips, 3 months of travel in Ecuador, and 30 days on the Camino de Santiago.

The Aurora is made from light but tough 420 Denier nylon and weighs 1.36 kg / 3 lbs. You can order it in Slate Blue, Grey and Light Grey. You can also purchase an optional padded hip belt (S, M, L, XL) for extra support ($40). Fully packed, the dimensions are 34 cm x 53 cm x 20 cm (13.5” x 21” x 8”).
