Happy 50th Gros Morne National Park!

Gros Morne National Park is celebrating it's 50th Anniversary today.

From the tops of its mountain peaks to the edge of its shorelines, this has been and continues to be a special place for everyone to create memorable experiences – like Parka did at the top of Gros Morne Mountain! It’s no wonder those who visit and reside here share a similar love for this place.

Here’s to many more years of inspiration, cooperation and stewardship of these beautiful lands for future generations.

There is a celebration today being held at 2 p.m. (NDT) with Indigenous partners, other partners, the surrounding enclave communities, and special guests, including the Honourable Gudie Hutchings and the Right Honourable Jean Chrétien. Admission is free although seating capacity is limited.
