Trail Mix: Carpe Diem Autumn
Although I am looking forward to strapping on the snowshoes, I am already tired of all the e-mails coming in from outdoors stores offering Winter clothing and gear. Canadian Autumn is a beautiful time of year with little to no bugs, gorgeous colours, and reasonable temperatures. So layer appropriately, bring a soft-shell or rain jacket and explore the trails or hop in the canoe a few more times before the snow starts to fly.
"Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero" is the longer version of the phrase we all commonly know, which means "Seize the day, trusting as little as possible in the next day". Seems quite fitting as the temperatures drop. Go explore outdoors!
