Yonder App Adds Nifty Features in Version 2.0.25
Yonder (check out our review at the app) released version 2.0.25 yesterday, which sounds like a small point-release, but they have actually added quite a bit. Be sure to update, the entire app is much more fluid. Here's a list of the changes...
- NEW USER PROFILES!!! We completely redesigned the user profile with the following:
- Circle avatars! Don’t be a square! Update to get your Circle avatar. They look awesome! In fact, we liked it so much, we made the avatars circles everywhere!
- COVER PHOTOS! We think you’ll agree that they really make your profiles more personal.
- Longer “about me” text. You’re all so awesome, I’m not sure why we ever thought it could be distilled to 60 characters… Now you’ve got 2,000, so don’t be shy, tell us about yourself.
- Personal URL… that’s right, you can now add a personal URL to your profile, so if the bigger avatars, cover photos, and 2K characters weren’t enough to say, “this is who I am,” you can send people to a website to learn more about your awesomeness!
- We made lists more prominent. Lists are a place to collect what inspires you, create a bucket list of your favorite destinations, make an itinerary for your next trip, or to organize your own adventures into groups…they’re just so versatile and cool that we thought they deserved top billing.
- All kinds of slick animations (hopefully not to superfluous)
- We’ve invested so much time over the past year into improving the speed of your trending feed, following feed, places pages etc… in this update we tacked one of our favorite and most deserving place for improvement, MAPS! We know that this was an area that has needed some attention, but we think you’ll agree that it was worth the wait. Sneak preview: Improving performance here was a precursor to some REALLY exciting things to come!
- 3 NEW CATEGORIES!!! All you Yogis, Off-Roaders, and Geocachers now have a home here on Yonder!
- Optimized for iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. We upgraded all of our assets to make Yonder look beautiful on the new larger screens.
P.S. Don't forget to nab yourself some Yonder stickers!
