With the recent news that Esquif has shuttered business, the remaining Canadian canoe companies have all signed an agreement to band together.
"With the ebb and flow of canoe sales, we believe it's best suited that we work as a cohesive unit to bring Canadians what they want" says Pete Thompson from ClearSki Quessy. "They are still Canadian made, and by working together we can compete in any market.".
We will see a new fleet of canoes such as the Holy LangScott, and the Miramichi NovaSouris.
Possibly in even bigger news, with their combined know-how we will finally see the return of Royalex in the surprising Royalex-Cedar-Strip canoe line. "It's the best of both worlds!" says Pete with an enthusiastic thumbs-up.
