The Canoe Emoji Has Been Approved

With the growing list of Emoji (picture characters or pictographs that represent emotions, feelings, or activities) we noted last year the absence of the canoe. Well good news everyone, you will soon be able to message your friends and ask them if they want to go canoeing with a single tap. Unicode #U+1F6F6 is one of the 77 candidates that was just approved by the Unicode Technical Committee which means the next time your phone vendor updates their list of Emoji, the canoe will be amongst it!
