Backcountry Camping Prohibited At Mount Revelstoke National Park

UPDATE: The Fire ban has now been lifted.


Due to fire warnings, by order of the Superintendent, Backcountry Camping is prohibited at Mount Revelstoke National Park. This includes Mount Revelstoke National Park Summit area and surrounding backcountry area; including Eva Lake and Jade Lakes.

There is also a fire ban at Glacier National Park.

Parks Canada is actively using thermal imaging to detect hot spots and keep any fires under control.
