The 2020 Ontario Backcountry Canoe Symposium Has Been Cancelled

Following the news that Covid-19 has been declared a pandemic the 9th Annual Ontario Backcountry Canoe Symposium has been cancelled…

“As the situation with the Covid-19 virus continues to change rapidly, the responsible and cautious next step seems to be the cancellation of the April 4th OBCS. We do not make this decision lightly, and hope that as a supporter of the OBCS you will understand that the health of our audience, speakers, vendors and volunteers is our primary concern.

Thanks to everyone who purchased a ticket to support the event. Ticket refunds will be completed as quickly as possible….but this needs to be done individually, so may take several days, or more.

Thanks again for supporting the OBCS, and we hope to see you at future events!”
