2020 Temagami Canoe Festival Cancelled Until 2021

The Temagami Canoe Festival announced today that they will be cancelling this year’s event…

“It’s with sadness that the Temagami Canoe Festival 2020 is cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Over the last few weeks we have been monitoring the situation and have determined that it is no longer safe to move forward with the festival on July 18-19, 2020.

The health and safety of our artists/performers, vendors, volunteers, visitors and safety of our community is our number one priority. We have therefore decided to hold off on having the festival this year and instead will bring the festival back in July 2021.

Now is the time to look after your families and be safe and smart about protecting everyone who supports us. We will see you all July 17-18, 2021.”
