Join The Friends Of Wabakimi For A Fundraising Webinar Tonight

The Friends of Wabikimi and Wabakimi Provincial Park are hosting a webinar tonight as part of a fundraiser to help clean up "Schultz's Trail"….

In this webinar, Jake from WPP will describe the condition of the Schultz Trail, located on Onamakawash Lake and accessed by train. Here, the remains of several abandoned cabins and assorted debris are located. Over the years this debris has accumulated along this portage creating a visual eyesore and a hazard to paddlers trying to begin a canoe trip. It also creates a bad first impression for the park.

The Friends of Wabikimi are seeking Volunteers as well as funds needed for this effort! Please consider donating today to this Project to clean up the Schultz's Trail landing. The goal is $10,000 CAD and so far they have already raised $6,560.
