Check Out Manitoba's New Paddling Event "Rendez-Vous Rivyayr Seine"

Come paddle Winnipeg's 2nd longest river, the Seine River in a brand new annual event Rendez-Vous Rivyayr Seine. The event takes place on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 and runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (although the time varies depending on which of the four starting locations you choose)…

La Société historique métisse, the Métis Historical Society, invites you for a beautiful day rooted in history, land and water on Saturday, June 8, 2024, for a paddle along the picturesque Seine River Greenway. 

Paddlers can set out on a journey of their choice along the Seine River, ranging from 5 to ~17 kms downstream arriving by boat to the Rendez-Vous at Parc Lagimodière-Gaboury Park with food, entertainment, local vendors, and artisans. 

Registered participants will receive one raffle ticket for the chance to win a brand new 16' Nova Craft, Prospector Canoe (Tuffstuff 54lbs), two paddles, two memberships to Paddle MB and free delivery from Wilderness Supply, with many more door prizes for paddlers!

Winnipeg Transit buses will shuttle paddlers back to their vehicles at their launch location. Boat Valet will secure boards until retrieval at the Rendez-Vous until 5:00 p.m.

Even if you don’t have a canoe, check out local places to rent one and take part in the fun.
